Xiaomi has announced that the MIUI 12.5 update will be rolled out in the second quarter of the year 2021 in the international market. MIUI 12.5 was introduced with the Mi 11 Smartphone on Monday 8 February, although the company had not announced at that time when the update would be released for the phones. But now Xiaomi has released the list of smartphones for which MIUI 12.5 update will be rolled out in the first batch. This update will come with major system optimization, which makes the overall experience of the operating system faster and smoother.
Xiaomi has shared on its blog that the MIUI 12.5 update is based on the MIUI 12 is an intermediate update and through this the company is focusing on system optimization. This update brings a complete rewamp system UI, which has been claimed to reduce CPU usage by 22 percent and power consumption by 15 percent. It has been said about these changes that it will bring smoother and more responsive experience.
The MIUI 12.5 update also allows users to uninstall system apps. Xiaomi says that a large number of system apps can be uninstalled and some apps may be installed.
The stable MIUI 12.5 update will be rolled out in late April 2021 for the Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 11 smartphones, which will be the first phase of the international rollout of the update. The second phase includes 11 Xiaomi devices, Mi 10T Lite, Mi 10 Lite, Mi Note 10 Series, Redmi Note 9 Series, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Poco F2 Pro, Poco X3 NFC, Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9T, but the company Has not announced its date.
